Terms of Use

1. The service

YAPA matches consenting members for reciprocal contact exchange in collections of up to five, subject to a daily allowance. When you collect another member's contact, your number is reserved for them to collect. This does not guarantee either person downloads or saves the file. YAPA is not affiliated with WhatsApp. You import contacts yourself.

2. Your account

One account per person, protected by your email and password. Only add your own WhatsApp number; we do not send SMS codes, so it is not verified. You must be 18+ or have guardian consent. Keep your number accurate — dead numbers hurt everyone you swap with.

3. Acceptable use

• No spam, scams, harassment, or illegal content towards contacts you receive.
• No reselling, republishing, or scraping of contact files.
• No fake accounts, referral fraud, or multiple accounts per person.

Violations lead to suspension. Members can report any number they received; reports are reviewed by our team.

4. Coins & premium

Coins are a loyalty feature with no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Premium subscriptions (₦1,000/month, ₦2,500/quarter) are processed by Paystack and activate after payment confirmation. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Liability

Contact files contain numbers members entered themselves. We do not verify numbers and cannot guarantee the conduct of any member. Interactions with other members are at your own discretion. The service is provided "as is".

6. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. Material changes are announced in-app.
